I painted this because I'm an Iranian and I believe in hope and I believe together we can change things!
Iranians are not protesting against Islam and Muslims. we are fighting for our basic rights; the right for women to sing in my country, the right for women to ask for a divorce, the right for women to have custody over their children, the right to choose how we dress, to stop wrongful imprisonment, to stop torture and rape, for freedom of speech, for all citizens, for the many Iranians abroad that got forced to leave and fear a death sentence upon returning to their homeland!
We are fighting to get Iran back.
We are fighting for all our loved ones
We are fighting for all the people we lost
We are fighting for the future of our children
